Interval Relation Rules

The official website of semibola.

The official website of semibola. This guide explains the exact mechanics of the Interval Relation demo. The game draws four independent uniform readings from thirteen pockets (0–12). These readings form two closed intervals, A and B. Scoring depends on the spatial relationship between these intervals.

Scoring Logic

The system classifies the relationship between Interval A and Interval B in a specific priority order:

  1. Equal Intervals (Score 4): If A and B are identical.
  2. Strict Disjointness (Score 0): If the intervals do not touch or overlap.
  3. Containment without Equality (Score 2): If one interval is strictly inside the other.
  4. Shared Endpoint (Score 1): If they share an endpoint but have zero-length intersection.
  5. Partial Positive Overlap (Score 3): Any other overlap scenario.

Note: Checks occur in this order. For example, a singleton inside another interval is classified as containment (Score 2) rather than a shared endpoint.

Ticket Modes

Players select one ticket mode before spinning. The modes cover different score distributions:

  • Lower: Covers the first floor(number of distinct attainable scores / 2) scores.
  • Upper: Covers the remaining scores.
  • Even: Covers even integer scores.

Tickets can overlap, meaning a single outcome might satisfy multiple conditions depending on the specific ticket definitions. A matching result returns a gross payout based on the captured stake and the exact probability of that ticket.

Payout Calculation

The gross payout for a winning ticket is calculated as:

0.96 × captured whole stake × total support / number of winning ordered outcomes

A miss returns zero. One whole stake covers all independent readings in the sequence. The exact probability and support values are recorded in the game's mathematical modes.

Controls & Auto Play

The demo offers specific controls for managing play:

  • Auto: Schedules at most ten draws.
  • Stop: Cancels future draws; active draws finish settlement.
  • Locking: Stake, ticket, and refill options remain locked through settlement and the auto queue.

The settlement time is 480ms. Sound remains available during active settlement.

Wallet & Persistence

The demo uses a virtual wallet with specific persistence rules:

  • Restoration: When fully idle and balance is below 10, manual refill sets the balance to exactly 1000.
  • Fractional Carry: Fractional values persist across settlement, refill, and reload.
  • Reload: Discards unfinished draws without refund. Settled balances persist locally, including zero.

Mathematical Evidence

Simulation measurements support the mathematical rules but are not the law itself. The exact gross RTP is 0.96 for all modes.

Ticket ModeExact ProbabilityMeasured RTP
Lower (0)10452 / 2856196.249%
Upper (1)18109 / 2856195.991%
Even (2)20553 / 2856196.026%

Measured RTPs are sample observations and may vary slightly from the exact 0.96 gross return.

Frequently asked questions

How is the score determined if intervals overlap?

Scores are assigned based on a priority order: Equal (4), Disjoint (0), Containment (2), Shared Endpoint (1), or Partial Overlap (3). For example, a singleton inside another interval is scored as Containment (2).

What happens to my balance if I reload the page?

Unfinished draws are discarded without refund. Settled balances persist locally, including zero balances. Fractional carry is also preserved.

Is this a real-money casino?

No. This is an independent guide's demo. Virtual coins have no cash value. The balance is reset to 1000 manually if idle and below 10.
